Product description
"Everything we do, we do with enthusiasm - and we do it for life!"
Danger recognised, danger averted - gases and vapours are almost always dangerous! If gases are not present in the atmospheric composition we are familiar with and can breathe, safe breathing is at risk.
Whether it's Dräger-Tubes or portable gas detection technology - Dräger offers you individual solutions to detect Ex - O2 - Tox - hazards and protect human life, plants and the environment.
Your advantages:
More than 70 years of experience in the development of gas detection technology
Cost-efficient solutions adapted to operational needs
Precise matching of instruments and sensors through in-house production
Short delivery times as a result
Particular durability: up to 5 years warranty
Personal advice
Easy to use
There is fuming sulphuric acid in the tubes. When the tips of the tube have been opened, air is pumped through the tube with a small rubber ball.
This produces visible white smoke, which is carried by any air currents that may be present.
The Dräger-Tubes can be used to take gas measurements in different areas.
Warning!
In order to produce mist, both tips of the tube must be broken off. Do not inhale the mist, strictly avoid any contact with it. Never point the tube at people when in use.
Tube contents have toxic/corrosive properties, do not swallow, avoid contact with skin or eyes. Be careful when opening, glass splinters may come off.
Observe safety instructions!
Area of application / environmental conditions
The tube is used to detect weak air flows and to check ventilation and air conditioning systems or weather flow movements.Temperature: 0 °C - 40 °C
Humidity: 3 to 50 mg/L (50 mg/L corresponds to 100 % r. h. at 40 °C)
The higher the humidity content of the air, the more clearly the sulphuric acid aerosol becomes visible. If the air is absolutely dry, no visible smoke is produced.
